For
a hundred years now, generation after generation, we have been growing
vines and making wine on our estate. Between 1970 to 1973, we grew
both vines and crops. Our estate grew in size in 1976 and at that
time, we abandoned our crop farrming. Today, our estate vineyards
cover 19 hectares. Our estate is situated in the village of Bue,
one of the oldest wine growing areas. The vines grow in the two
communes of BUE and SANCERRE, on the hillsides under the rising
sun (East South East), with a percentage varying between 5 and 20. |
Harvest:
grown over an area of about 15 hectares, they are sauvignon vines,
planted on chalky ot white (a mix of clay and chalk) hillsides.
Picked when fully ripe, the grapes are pressed as soon as possible,
then vinified in stainless steel vats, whose temperature is strictly
monitored to make sur the wine develops its full finesse and bouquet.
Wine-specialist's opinion: white sancerre, a good colour, vivacious
and fine, with characteristic fruitiness.
The sommelier's opinion: it is perfect to drink with meals and adds
a special something to seafood, smoked salmon, sea and freshwater
fish.
Serving: Refrigerate to 10°C before serving.
We currently have about 25,000 bottles in stock.
"Drink alcohol in moderation."
